CUSTOM BALLOON AND DECOR FAQS


I HAVE MY OWN IDEAS, WILL YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR ME?

We are happy to accomodate color requests, tassel color combos, and other design ideas. We are also highly open to helping style a party, create custom decor pieces, collaborating, and anything outside of the box. The items listed above are our most popular requests, but we are happy to do so much more.

WHAT TYPE OF BALLOONS?

We use the highest quality latex bio-degradable balloons available.

HOW LONG DO THE HELIUM BALLOONS LAST?

Latex, by nature, is porous. So, all latex balloons slowly begin the shrinking process after they are blown up. But we do use a higher quality latex than what you would buy at a party store. Additionally, our helium inflated latex balloons are coated with a glue inside to slow down this process and extend their float time. Regardless, your balloons will still shrink a little bit each day. Our Jumbo balloons will last 3-10 days. Confetti filled jumbo balloons (cannot be coated with this glue to extend float time) or those with a lot of additional accessories will float 1-2 days. 16" Latex balloons float 2 days and 11" latex balloons float for 24 hours. Mylar or foil balloons are not porous, and will float for much longer. These time estimates are for interior usage. Please be aware that the outdoor elements can decrease float time.

IS THE PAINTING AND LETTERING DONE BY MACHINE OR BY HAND

All our painted balloons and lettering are unique and custom because they are all done by hand by our resident artist.

HOW LONG WILL MY BALLOON GARLAND LAST?

Again, we use a higher quality latex than what you purchase at a party store. For indoor climate controlled environments- our balloon garlands always look best the first two weeks of install and we have seen many clients keep these up as long as a month or more, but it will ultimately be up to you to determine when you no longer feel your garland is at its best. As mentioned previously, balloons shrink. We do not typically use the glue to extend life on the balloon garlands and balloon installations as this is laborious. For exterior installations, there are many factors that are damaging to balloons like high heat (over 85 degrees), direct sunlight, winds, rains, heavy storms, passers by, thorny bushes, and other elements our of our control. Outdoor installations will last 1-14 days. You truly only get 14 days if you are lucky to get mild temperatures (in the 70's) nice shady, no winds. Latex balloons fair better outside than mylar. If your intention is to keep your balloons up for an extended period of time, it's best to do all latex.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BALLOONS SO THEY LAST LONG AND DON’T POP?

FLOAT TIME: Balloons do best indoors at a comfortable temperature. Helium’s effectiveness is impacted by extreme heat, direct sunlight, and extreme colds. Balloons outside will have a shorter float time the more severe the conditions and the longer they are left in the elements.

DECREASE FLYAWAYS: To decrease your chances of losing a balloon, always keep your balloons on the weight we supply. If it is windy and you are using your balloons outdoors, the weight will not be enough. You will need to secure them with additional support like a stake, sandbag, etc.

DECREASE POPPING: Keep away from sunlight, hot surfaces like cars, fire, candles, the grill, bushes/trees, brick surfaces, people playing with them roughly, surfaces that might have rough edges, nails sticking out, splintered wood, etc.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BALLOON POPS?

We cannot guarantee your balloons will not pop! We use the highest quality latex, but even still...they’re balloons...balloons pop. If WE pop your balloon, it will be replaced at no charge or a refund supplied if we cannot get you a replacement in time. If anything or anyone else pops/ let’s go/ or steals your balloon, this is not our responsibility. This goes for kids, strangers, fly-aways, pokey bushes, needles in a haystack, brick walls, sneaky balloon thieves, car rides, sunlight, hot surfaces, clawed beasts, darts, bow and arrows….you get it.  If you would like to purchase a replacement, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee we would be available and will make it in time, but if we can we will.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

From birthday parties, surprise balloon deliveries, gender reveal balloons, to corporate events, product launches, store fronts, publicity, christenings, weddings to engagements, we do it all and we are very open to customizations in colors, style, concept, etc. Give us a ring! Let’s Talk!

WHEN SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?

For Balloon Deliveries, we only take these a month out. For Full Service, we book orders up to a year out, and as soon as next day on occasion. We cannot guarantee a short turnaround because our calendar can fill up, but give us a call and we can check availability. We recommend 3-4 weeks out at minimum, further out for concept pieces.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PUT DOWN TO PLACE AN ORDER.

For our Delivery Service, we require payment in full. For our Full Service orders, we require 50% at time of booking, and the remaining balance due two weeks prior. If you are booking within 2 weeks of your install, we require the payment made in full at time of booking.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

When placing an order, we are limited to how many orders we can take for a particular day, so we are reserving you a spot that date and possibly turning away others the closer we get to your date.

CANCELING DELIVERY ORDERS: You can receive a 100% refund for a cancellation made up to 14 days prior. For cancellation within 14-2 days prior to delivery date, this will be 50% refundable with the client understanding that there was loss of sale and possibly custom accessories made. Cancellation within 48 hours of delivery date and time will be 100% non-refundable.

CANCELING FULL SERVICE INSTALLATIONS: For our larger decor installations, these are 100% refundable from time of booking up until 4 months prior to the install date. They are 50% non-refundable from 4 months prior to the install date up until 2 weeks prior. Depending on the timing and scope of work, we may begin ordering supplies and building components immediately. If cancelling a custom decor installation within 2 weeks of the delivery date, this will be 100% non-refundable.

POSTPONEMENT POLICY: We have no limit to how many times you can postpone your event date. We do require a 7 days notice before your event date, otherwise, there will be late notice fees associated with requesting a postponement within 7 days of the install date.

DO YOU DELIVER?

We offer a wide range of services that are delivered to your door step. We do also offer pick up from our studio. Deliveries and Pick Ups are limited to our studio hours Monday-Friday. You will have to call and schedule a pick up.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE MY DELIVERY?

Since balloons do begin slowly shrinking upon inflation, we recommend scheduling delivery on the day of the event you intend to showcase them for so you can enjoy them at their fullest potential for the longest amount of time. Although, it is not the end of the world to get them a day ahead.

DO YOU DO THE SETUP AND TEAR DOWN OF THE INSTALLATIONS?

Setup is included in all Full Service orders but tear down is the responsibility of the client for small setups.  If you have a large set up, rentals that need to be picked up, we will automatically add a Teardown Fee to your invoice. Tear down typically consists of cutting fishing line/ zip ties and possible removal of command hooks, and popping balloons. If we are recommending a self-teardown and you would prefer us to come back to tear down, this can be arranged at an additional charge. Please inquire at the time you are placing your order.

DO YOU SHIP?

All our balloons that can be shipped are available to purchase through our online party shop. Our custom hand painted and hand lettered balloons are not available to ship as these customizations are made when the balloon is inflated.
